Samartex and Timber Plywood Company Limited have booked Sarkodie for its 2023 May Day celebration at Samreboi in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region. Flyers sighted on the official Facebook page one of award winning disc jockey,  Mr X  reveals that the free concert will come off on 1st May, 2023 at 8pm at the company's Nsyenkyire Park located at Samreboi.  Since 2017, Samartex has entertained people in and around its catchment area with free concerts with award winning musicians being the headliners. In 2017, the company brought Samini & Pat Thomas to Samreboi, 2018 was Stonebwoy and 2022 being Kofi Kinaata. Obed Bangdome Ofori, a former Regional Surveillance Officer for the Ghana Health Service Western Regional Health Directorate has been admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) Degree with First Class Honours at the University of Ghana.  He obtained a Final Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.91.  Obed entered the University to pursue this 3-year Diploma-to-Degree programme in August 2019. He had earlier obtained a diploma in Disease Control and Prevention in 2011 from the College of Health and Well-being (formerly Kintampo Rural Health Training School). After so much buzz on social media, Sunset 99.3MHz Entertainment Extra came off last Saturday as announced.  The show was hosted by Sambo Sulley Baba known in showbiz circles as DJ Sambo. It started off with the host playing back to back Cocoa City's songs. This really earned him plaudits from industry players and everyone who tuned in. The show also saw two of the industry's heavyweights in the Western North region in the persons of Kwabena Lyta and AkingDick premiering 'Jealousy' and Time and Season' respectively. After taking a break from Radio work, DJ Sambo has finally returned.  He is set to host Sunset Radio Station's Entertainment Extra this and every Saturday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. In a post sighted on his Facebook account, Baba Sambo wrote: "Hello fam... I’m happy to be back on air. Kwaben Lyta on Stage The management of Kwabena Lyta have come out to reveal that their respect for directive by the President of Republic of Ghana on restrictions on social gathering was the main reason the 2020 edition of their Annual Sefwi Boy Concert was called off. It would be recalled that on his May 31, address to the nation in 2020, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo directed that: " sporting events, festivals, funerals, political rallies and large religious gatherings such as crusades, pilgrimages and conventions will remain suspended for the time being. Maame Yeboah Asiedu Rev Mrs. Maame Yeboah Asiedu of Adom TV has confirmed that she was contacted by Sokode. She however, declined to comment when she was asked if she was the one who recorded the phone conversation between the two. Readers will recall that Sokode had alleged that Maame Yeboah Asiedu recorded her without her knowledge and the leaking of their conversation into public brought about arguments between herself and Rapper Ayesem. Rev Mrs Maame Yeboah Asiedu Koforidua-based female singer, Abby K. Sokode has revealed that her relationship with Rapper Ayesem was going on well until she spoke to Reverend Mrs. Maame Yaa Asiedu of Adom TV. She revealed this through a phone conversation with me, Sokode stated that: "....Ayesem and I were in a good relationship and I am currently carrying his baby. But what brought about a heated argument and resulted in us not being in good terms was that I reported the case to Maame Yeboah Asiedu of Adom TV, who is like a mother to me. She chastised the singer Sokode in a vengeful manner by using some unpalatable words to describe her. Rapper Ayesem In a post sighted in a Facebook private group called BOREDOM BUSTERS, a Facebook user by name  Sokode Iamsokode  has revealed Takoradi-based rapper Ayesem as her Boyfriend. The post reads: "Challenge accepted.... #boyfriendchallenge.  Comments on the post has however, been divided. Some members are congratulating the lady for a nice catch whiles some are of the view the lady does not deserve the rapper as a boyfriend. Miss Adepa in April 2019 Western Region's Representative in the 2018 edition of Ghana's Most Beautiful beauty pageant, Miss Adepa has been appointed by Ghana Health Service as Cervical Cancer Ambassador. In a letter sighted by madeintaadi.blogspot.com , Dr Patrick Kumah-Aboagye, the Director-General of the service, revealed that Adepa's Ambassadorial appointment was based on her past advocacy roles in awareness creation, prevention and control of cervical cancer in Ghana. Miss Irene Devine Dzirasa During a Speech Delivery at the Graduation The University of Health and Allied Health (UHAS) has adjudged Ms. Irene Devine Dzirasa, a Public Health Nutrition graduate as the Valedictorian at the school's 2nd session of 4th Congregation held today at Sokode, Ho. She graduated with a final grade point average of 3.79. Ms. Irene revealed in a speech that her parent divorced at age 8 and by 15, she had lost her dad, whom she was living with at Kintampo. Madeintaadi  has chanced upon a video which shows Western North Artist of the year, Kwabena Lyta and sensational Kumasi-based female artist Yaa Jackson in the studio. Although management of the two camps are tight-lipped about the video, reliable sources close to the musicians have disclosed that Yaa Jackson sang in Sefwi language, a move which was inspired by her admiration for the dialect. We cannot categorically state at this juncture, which of the two musicians exclusively owns the love song. However, snippets show Yaa Jackson saying "so many boys but I chose.
