A Facbook post by Laud Nana Quophy which sought to mock Ghanaian women has generated argument on Facbook.
In a Facebook post whiles feeling silly, the graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who is currently the Managing Director at Bluezone Global LTD suggested among other things that an Ashanti girl will insult you for breaking up with her, but a Krobo girl will sleep around with your friends if you broke up with her.
After some hours, he deleted the post.
But some Krobo women who felt insulted have started sharing the post and the post has since gone viral on Facebook.
One woman who is vociferous on the topic is Sandra Padikie Ofori. She quizzed on her wall: "Ghanaian Men, pls Wat have we the Krobo women done to u. Enough of dis nonsense, don't come to my zone wit that foolish perception about my tribe, if u say "Fi' about my tribe, hmmm u will regret. Every region has Mensah in it so pls THIS NONSENSE MUST STOP".
