"ALL THAT RAS EBO IS SAYING ARE UNTRUE", WESTLINE ENTERTAINMENT RESPONDS

Finally we have gotten response from Westline Entertainment concerning the allegations made by Ras Ebo of Kuush Family.

Readers will recall that we reported early on allegations made against the event organizers by the Kuush Family CEO. Check the story here in case you missed it RAS EBO BEMOANS

The PRO of Westline Entertainment has denied all the allegations and said they are made up stories and do not contain one iota of truth.

Nana Kwesi Coomson, PRO of Westline Entertainment in a telephone conversation pointed out that since the award was a maiden edition, nominees were given the privilege to present any song irrespective of date of release for consideration by the board.

In the case of Ras Ebo, the PRO hinted that he presented 3 songs including his Kuush Style hit for nominations in one the Hiplife categories. But the board on the other hand selected a different song other than the Kuush Style which Ras Ebo preferred to have been nominated.

According to Nana Kwesi, the board has never said on any platform that Kuush Style was profane song. However, he could not state the reason for non-inclusion of Kuush style in the nomination.

When asked why his CEO Egya Ampaabeng prevented Ras Ebo from attending the show, he stated that his CEO did not even speak to Ras Ebo or any friend of Ras Ebo. It was after the show that he saw a missed call from Ras Ebo.

"If you have organized event before, you know on the day of the event, you become stressful; so you don't have the liberty to be having irrelevant calls... I call it irrelevant because Ras Ebo wasn't part of my [our] plans, he had pulled out"

At this juncture, what still remains a mystery is the main reason that informed the board's decision not to choose Kuush Style.

We respectfully ask the Honourable Board Members, if they did not deem Kuush Style profane, why was it not nominated?
