"ALL THAT RAS EBO IS SAYING ARE UNTRUE", WESTLINE ENTERTAINMENT RESPONDS

Image
Finally we have gotten response from Westline Entertainment concerning the allegations made by Ras Ebo of Kuush Family. Readers will recall that we reported early on allegations made against the event organizers by the Kuush Family CEO. Check the story here in case you missed it RAS EBO BEMOANS The PRO of Westline Entertainment has denied all the allegations and said they are made up stories and do not contain one iota of truth. Nana Kwesi Coomson, PRO of Westline Entertainment in a telephone conversation pointed out that since the award was a maiden edition, nominees were given the privilege to present any song irrespective of date of release for consideration by the board. In the case of Ras Ebo, the PRO hinted that he presented 3 songs including his Kuush Style hit for nominations in one the Hiplife categories. But the board on the other hand selected a different song other than the Kuush Style which Ras Ebo preferred to have been nominated. According to Nana Kwesi, the bo

Picture of Musician Ras Ebo Conspicuously among the bombshells that happened during the 2017 Rush Western Music Awards was the withdrawal of nomination by the Kuush Family Head Ras Ebo. In an exclusive interview on Paragon FM, the Indomie Girl hit maker has revealed that his decision to back off the award was as a result of exclusion of his hit song Kuush Style by the Award Board. He said: “When it [the nominations] came, some songs of mine were eliminated from inside [ sic ]… they were saying Kush Style is a [ sic ] profane”. He wondered why the song met radio stations guidelines and enjoyed massive airplay but was not deemed fit for nominations by the board. “I was like wow. The music they’ve been playing on radio so long how can it be profane?” he quizzed. When asked about his reasons for not attending the show, he had this to say: “I wanted to come [for the show]. I was with a friend and the friend called Ampaabeng and said ‘yeah I took your number

What Popular Takoradi Radio Hosts Really Wear to Work?

Image
It is general believe that the major impact a radio personality may have on their listeners is the content of the broadcast they carry. Against this backdrop, most radio hosts and DJs pay much attention to their voice and accent, forgetting about what they wear to work. An Italian fashion designer and businesswoman, Miuccia Prada once said: “What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.” We did some quick review on Facebook of some male radio personalities who work at Radio Maxx 105.1 FM  aka the orange family and Paragon 99.9 FM  aka the purple family. 1. OPEN LETTER TO BEST WESTERN PLUS ATLANTIC HOTEL

Image
Dear Manager, Yesterday, I came to your 4.2 stars Google rated hotel to buy food. I was handed a food menu, but unlike Rev Mensah Otabil, I prefer to eat with my fingers so I ordered grilled tilapia and banku. Do you know why I chose that delicacy? Your food menu said local foods like my choice takes between 20 to 30 minutes to prepare. Since there was a football match ongoing, I think it was Monaco and Juventus, I did not mind waiting that long. True to your words, my food was ready after 27 minutes. Gorgeously lying on a flat ceramic plate was my grilled tilapia with sliced onions and green pepper on top of it. My mouth began to water upon seeing the waiter walking gently towards table 10. However, my appetite started diminishing when I saw my two small balls of banku wrapped in plain thing plastic bags. But I had read somewhere that: " Realistically, eating hot food from a plastic bag one time will probably have no effect on a person's health, but those who ma

Last Saturdy, Melody Fm's own DJ Bibini was crowned Best DJ in the Western Region after beating his compatriots DJX, DJ Berry, DJ Oxygen, DJ Acidic, DJ Magnus and Majik George. It is being speculated that DJ Bibini paid a sum of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 2,000.00) to the organizers to get his name on the list and also rig the results in his favour.   The allegation is currently trending on Facebook with some DJs in the oil city throwing weight behind the rumour. A Facbook post by Laud Nana Quophy  which sought to mock Ghanaian women has generated argument on Facbook. Facebook Profile Photo of Laud Nana Quophy In a Facebook post whiles feeling silly, the graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who is currently the Managing Director at Bluezone Global LTD suggested among other things that an Ashanti girl will insult you for breaking up with her, but a Krobo girl will sleep around with your friends if you broke up with her. After some hours, he deleted the post. But some Krobo women who felt insulted have started sharing the post and the post has since gone viral on Facebook. WHO WINS BEST WESTERN REGION DJ?

Image
Merqury Quaye and his crew bring to Ghanaians, the 2017 Rush Ghana DJ awards this Saturday at the Silver Star Towers in airport residential area, Accra. In all, there are 10 regional categories and 24 national categories. The team at Made in Taadi blog has analyzed the Best Western Region category which has nominees like DJ Bibini , DJ X , DJ Berry , DJ Oxygen , DJ Acidic , DJ Magnus and Majik George. We believe strongly the competition for this category is between DJ Magnus and DJX. DJ Magnus having won the Best Radio DJ in the just ended Rush Western Music Awards stands tall with his recent title.   DJX on the other hand, is the reigning Best Mixtape DJ. He is also the only DJ from western region who got the highest nomination, namely Best western DJ, Mixtape DJ and Best Music Promoter. Another advantage DJX has is that, this is his third appearance in the award since its inception. In the meantime, voting has ended to pave way for compilation of votes cast.

HAS CRISS WADDLE'S AMG SIGNED AYESEM?

Image
Every musician in Ghana is noted for their unique lexicon. When you mention 'Abodam", in Ghana, everyone knows you are referring to man insane Kwaw Kese. The Bhim N ation King, is no other than Stonebwoy and his Bhim Natives associate him to 'Aaarbwoy". The hiplife lovers know Sarkodie for terms like "money no bi problem', 'Haaarh"and 'What-else?'. In his version of E-40's choices, AMG CEO Criss Kwaku Waddle began by saying "To the Bloodclat world". "Poof Poof" is another bonafide term of AMG. We want to find out if the Western Region Rapper of year 2017 has joined the Arab Money Gang Business. It will be recalled that the last time AMG tried to sign a Taadi based artist, the deal backfired and the relationship between them and the artist is like that of America and North Korea. Check out what Ayesm posted to his more than 12k friends and followers on his personal facebook account:
