MAN WHO CALLED WOMEN NAMES ON FACEBOOK EATS HUMBLE PIE

Do you remember the KNUST graduate who used unpalatable words to describe Ghanaian women according to their tribes on Facebook?

In case you missed the story read it here: "WHAT HAS KROBO WOMEN DONE TO GHANAIAN MEN?" GHANAIAN WOMAN CRIES FOR ANSWERS ON FACEBOOK.

After realizing his mistake, he has shown remorse for his actions and now begging for forgiveness.

In a message intended to be an apology, Laud Nana Quophy says he was just joking and did not have intention to insult any tribe.

In a related development, the Klo Yiewii Akpe, an association of Krobo Women around the globe, is reportedly signing petition to present to the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection to bring to an end the constant verbal abuse they get from some Ghanaian men.

One of them Kloyobi Mateko Ami writes on her wall: "We (Krobo ladies) have had enough of the name calling and #stigmatization.
We are women with #dreams and #visions just like any other woman in this world. We may have our #weaknesses as an #individual but not a #tribe. Is heartbreaking when #educated people who should know more rather look down upon us. We accuse whites of #racism yet discriminate against our own.I will never insult you when you sideline me but sure know how to #use your #words as a #hurdle around your #neck.

Do you have any #ill comments about Krobo women? That's ok because you are entitled to your opinion. But the moment you voice out here,it changes from #personal to #public opinion and we will #fight for ourselves. Telling I and my #kind we will sleep around with your friends as pay back for a #breakup ain't cool at all. We have suffered enough;time to put a stop to it.
