Sarkodie to Headline Samartex's May Day Concert at Samreboi


Samartex and Timber Plywood Company Limited have booked Sarkodie for its 2023 May Day celebration at Samreboi in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region.


Flyers sighted on the official Facebook page one of award winning disc jockey, Mr X reveals that the free concert will come off on 1st May, 2023 at 8pm at the company's Nsyenkyire Park located at Samreboi. 



Since 2017, Samartex has entertained people in and around its catchment area with free concerts with award winning musicians being the headliners.

In 2017, the company brought Samini & Pat Thomas to Samreboi, 2018 was Stonebwoy and 2022 being Kofi Kinaata.

Stonebwoy's show in 2018 has been noted by many patrons as the most attended.

 

It will be recalled that in December 2021, Shatta Wale and Medikal took their Deeper Than Blood (DTB) concert to the same venue, but had a flopped show due to low turn out of patrons.


With Sarkodie being a rival to Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, Sarknatives in and around Samreboi will definitely not miss this show for anything since they want the park filled to full capacity and brag about breaking the formers' records.

Kwabena Lyta Wins Best Hiplife Song at 2019 Edition of Western Music Awards

Poster of Kwabena Lyta for 2019 RTC WMA Sefwi Boy Movement President Kwabena Lyta last Saturday was awarded Best Hiplife Song Title at the 2019 Edition of the RTC Western Music Awards which was organised at Best Western Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi. His song Ngrakers beat top Takoradi-based artists such as Ayesem, Yaw Lucas and Aya in the Best Hiplife Song of the year category.
